A Night with Alice Cooper

I recently had the opportunity to take my son, Jack, to see Alice Cooper live at the Paramount Theatre, thanks to our good friends at the local classic rock radio station, 94.1 KRNA. I had already seen Alice Cooper five times but I never thought we would get the chance to meet him in person! We had front row seats, so I knew probably would get some guitar picks and maybe a drum stick. Well, Jack ended up scoring a pick from every member of the band, a headband from the lead guitarist and Alice Cooper’s cane! When the lights went up after the show, the lead guitarist, Nita Strauss, came back out to talk to Jack.

At that point, my good friend Jaymz from KNRA gave Jack his backstage pass so he could meet Alice Cooper. Another local radio personality, DJ Curt, gave me a pass so I could take my son backstage. As we waited to meet this legend, the entire band came to hang out with our group. We had the opportunity to chat with all of them and Jack was in heaven. We finally got to spend a few minutes with the man himself and the pictures tell the rest.
